As a corporate event MC, I help organisations create engaging, professional events, including conferences, conventions, sales summits and leadership events.

I understand events from the inside out. I was the 2025 National Convention Convenor, where I worked with speakers from across the world. I am also the Chapter President of the Johannesburg Chapter of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa, and I have organised my own writers’ retreats and training events for years.

This experience has taught me what event coordinators manage at every moment: speakers, schedules, transitions, technical details, audience energy and the unexpected changes that can happen on the day.

I do not simply arrive to present the programme. I become part of the team. I arrive early, understand the plan, connect with the audience and work with your organisers and speakers to help the event run smoothly from beginning to end.

I know how much work goes into creating a successful event. I also know that even the best-planned programme can change once the doors open.

A speaker may run over time. A technical issue may delay the next session. The audience may need more energy after a long morning. A change to the programme may need to be handled without creating uncertainty in the room.

My role is to stay aware, stay calm and help the team respond professionally. I keep the audience informed and engaged while protecting the flow and purpose of the event.
